Empowering Youth for Better Health and Informed Choices

FLEP is at the forefront of advancing Adolescent Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in East Central Uganda. With a focus on empowering young people aged 10-24, particularly those out of school, FLEP ensures that youth have the knowledge and resources to make confident decisions about their health and future.

What We Do

  • Comprehensive Services: Deliver integrated reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and TB prevention, care, and treatment services through clinical, community-based, and mobile health programs.
  • Network of Care: Operate 52 rural health centers, supported by government grants and facilitated by the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB), providing care to hard-to-reach areas.
  • Youth-Focused Outreach: Engage young people through Youth Peer Educators (YPEs), youth clubs, and community-based initiatives to promote SRHR education and access to services.
  • Innovative Communication: Reach youth via social media, radio shows, community edutainment, and an informative website to ensure wide accessibility.
